OUR FOUNDERS

Breaking Ground Missions was founded in 2019 after God burdened Justin and Charla Douglas for the people of Uganda. After a short visit to Uganda the year prior, they saw the need for pastor training, evangelism, and church planting in the villages of Uganda. They currently live in Kamuli, Uganda running the ministry.

OAKLEY FAMILY

With a strong desire to follow God’s calling on their lives, Trey and Kasey Oakley joined Breaking Ground Missions in 2022 to help fulfill the Great Commission in Uganda.  Trey serves as the National Director of Evangelism & Church Planting in Kamuli, Uganda. Trey’s wife, Kasey, serves as our Director of Women’s Ministries. Trey and Kasey- along with their two sons Griffin and Groves- joined BGM and moved to Kamuli, Uganda in May 2022.
